Why Vetch

Most small farms can't justify consultant day rates, so they go without commercial advice altogether. Vetch is building a tool that gives farmers that advice at a price they can afford. This pilot is where we test it with real farms and get it right before we build the software.

Vetch is run by founder Alisa Murphy, who will be working with pilot farms directly. Alisa spent 15 years building purpose-led business in the climate technology space, before selling the company to her team. She started Vetch after spending months with local organic smallholders and coming to understand the many commercial challenges facing their businesses.
